LOVE Island star Maura Higgins thinks she is the reason why bosses have banned contestants from bringing in an essential item into the villa.
The TV personality first shot to fame on the fifth series of the hit ITV2 dating show.

Maura, 32, has since competed on the hit skating show Dancing On Ice and has hosted the Irish edition of the make-up competition Glow Up.
However, she’s now returned to her roots and is currently undertaking a new role as a social ambassador for the US edition of the long-running series.
And she told Insider that she thinks she is responsible for the fake tan ban on the reality show, as she used to ruin the bedsheets in the villa.
She told the outlet: “I remember going in and one of my main things to take in with me was fake tan, but I have heard that they’ve banned fake tans,”
“And I said to myself, ‘Thank God that I did it when it was allowed.’
“But then I also think maybe it’s banned from me ruining every single bedsheet in the villa.
“So it’s probably my fault. I’m sorry to everyone else.”
The former Love Island star also gave more details about her time in the villa in 2019.
She claimed that due to the amount of people living together and sharing facilities, it was difficult for them to get ready for the glamorous nights of filming.
“We had one shower inside and then we also had a shower outside, which a lot of the boys would use,” she admitted.
“But it can be hard, especially with one shower. There are a lot of islanders and if you are last in the queue, well, you’re not shaving your legs, you’re not gonna wash your hair.”
