SURELY there’s nothing we don’t know about Love Islanders Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins’ vicious split.
But taking part in the new series of Celebs Go Dating forced Curtis to open up in a way he’s never done before.
In fact things got so bad during his first session with the E4 show’s dating experts Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson he broke down in tears.
Curtis says: “I cried, because I hadn’t spoken to anybody about the Maura situation before.
“To talk openly and freely was a breath of fresh air.
“It was nice to be able to speak with people I felt safe talking about it with.”
Curtis and Maura became one of the talking points of their series of Love Island.
Things went sour after her appearance on Dancing On Ice and closeness with skater Alexander Demetriou.
Curtis added: “I love the work I do, and I’m still young.
“I just feel it was also the same for Maura, and it just meant we went our separate ways.”
I hope when the show airs and we see this outpouring it’s less diplomatic than that . . .
Big test for Soph
IT sounds like Made in Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann might be the first into the private cottage that allows couples some quiet time on Celebs Go Dating.
She said: “It’s going to be testing. I’m going to push my limits because I’ve lived alone for 10 years.
“I love living alone.
“I normally only live with people I have regular sex with, A.K.A. my boyfriends, so that is going to be difficult.
“But, I’ve been to three boarding schools so that’s great preparation.”
Asked if it was true she was booted out of those schools, she added: “Only two, OK?! So I could be trouble in the house. Rules are not for me.”

SINGLE Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson says fame has killed her love life – along with the coronavirus pandemic.
She said: “Is Covid the reason I’m not getting dates or is it Corrie? People interact with you differently when you’ve been on a show.
“They often want to talk about Corrie. They’ll ask, ‘What’s Roy like?’ But there’s no scoop I can give them, everyone’s lovely.”
Kimberly played escort Nicky Wheatley on the cobbles, but she says that isn’t what has put people off.
The actress added: “There is definitely an element of, ‘So what do you do?’ And then they’ll be like, ‘Oh, I knew I knew you’.”

MARK WRIGHT is a busy boy right now and puts it down to his twin talents of being entertaining and being likeable.
Not only is he doing the daily keep-fit programme Workout the Wright Way on BBC2, from tomorrow he’ll also be doing a weekly fitness segment on ITV’s Loose Women.
But Mark, who is married to Michelle Keegan and also plays football for Crawley Town, says starting out on reality TV carries a stigma.
Speaking to the Radio Times, he said: “The minute somebody does one, they apparently have no talents.
“But I beg to differ. It’s not easy to have a camera put in your face and be expected to be entertaining or likeable.”
