CELEBS Go Dating star Curtis Pritchard has taken a swipe at his brunette ex-girlfriend Maura Higgins by saying he’ll only date blondes now.
The professional dancer, 24, was reduced to tears reflecting on the pair’s messy break-up while filming the new series of Celebs Go Dating.
And while he recently let slip he didn’t find love in the series, he has a better idea of the type of woman he hopes to meet in the future.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: “Ever since being on Love Island I do think my type is blonde hair, a very athletic figure and just a very natural and bubbly personality, really. Somebody that really appreciates others.
“A real life lady, because let’s be honest, Instagram models, are they how they look on Instagram? Sometimes they are, sometimes they’re not. If you want the honest truth, put it mildly.
Curtis is now starring on Celebs Go Dating[/caption]“In the most inoffensive way, that is, I hate to say it but that is one of my reasons why I hate Instagram. It’s an incredible platform, you can do so much on it, but a lot of people edit what they look like. People create perhaps what they want to look like, but it’s not healthy for young people looking at that, because they don’t look like that themselves and never will.
“These kids want to look like that, but that’s not real because it’s been edited. It’s a vicious game, really.”
Curtis previously told The Sun he was hurt and let down by Maura’s new relationship with his former friend and co-star Chris Taylor.
And the emotion of it all proved too much when he had a heart to heart with dating coaches Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson on the E4 show.
